In a survey of Okaloosa and Walton county residents, more than 50% of the respondents reported that they have received property damage as the result of a lightning strike.

How do we know it's the best? Because we tested it by simulating a lightning strike in a surge protection testing laboratory. Therefore, we can say with confidence that we can help protect your investment in appliances and electronics with our three steps to better surge protection.

Meter-Based Unit
For protection of your motor-driven appliances, such as your washer and dryer, air conditioner, etc., we offer a meter-based surge protector. This unit hooks in behind your meter on the side of your home.

The surge protector is a leased unit and rents for $6.95 per month (which is added onto your monthly electric bill). Prior to installing the unit, a Surge Specialist will perform a Surge Evaluation of your home to make sure that your home is properly grounded and to check any existing surge protection you may already have. There is a $25 evaluation fee, but it also covers the cost of the installation as well.

For sensitive electronics such as your computer and television, you will need additional protection at the point of use. We offer quality point-of-use, or plug-in, protectors at affordable prices.

P.O.U. Protectors
We tested our Point Of Use (POU) surge protectors extensively in a lightning lab to make sure we were offering you the best possible protection for the price. All of our POUs are UL listed 1449 Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors in addition to being multi-staged and heat fused for your protection. The MP0HT series has two outlets. However, you can add additional outlets without altering performance by plugging a power tap into the device.

	MPM8HT The MPM8HT Multimedia Power Strip suppressor has eight receptacles to power your sensitive electronics. Its circuitry absorbs and reroutes surge energy to ground or, in the event of catastrophic surge, completely disconnects power. The MPM8HT has receptacles spaced to fit power blocks and diagnostic lights that indicates proper ground and outlet wiring.
	CSS1 Protects microwaves, garage door openers or any 120 volt electronics. A compact but tough suppressor at an inexpensive price.
	CSS1T Protects from harmful surges, spikes, and line noise. Perfect for telephone, fax machines, modems or laptops.
	US1206 – (Multi 1206) Protects all your sensitive electronics with six swiveling outlets, twin coaxial and telephone modules. This unit is great for tight spaces.
