The Environment Protection Agency (EPA) recently finalized a new power plant rule that unfairly
targets coal and natural gas plants by forcing a rapid reduction in carbon dioxide emissions
through the use of technology that is both costly and speculative. The rule will lead to plant
closures, higher power prices and significant reliability challenges as demand for electricity
grows.
