CHELCO’s Board of Trustees Election is officially underway—and this is your opportunity to take part in Democratic Member Control, one of the core principles that sets cooperatives apart.

By now, you should have received your Annual Meeting packet in the mail, which includes everything you need to vote:
✅ Official ballot & registration card
✅ Prepaid return envelope
✅ Voting instructions
✅ Details about our Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 18 at Freeport High School (where election results will be announced)

Trustee Elections
This year, elections for Districts 3, 5, and 8 are being conducted by mail-in ballot. To help meet the required 2% quorum, all members are encouraged to vote in every district election—no matter where you live.

✔️ Place it in the prepaid envelope
✔️ Mail it to Survey & Ballot Systems (our election partner)

⚠️ Important: Do not send your ballot to CHELCO—it will not be counted.
📅 Ballots must be received by April 13, 2026, so be sure to mail early!
