DeFuniak Springs (Feb. 24, 2022) – CHELCO will award six $1,000 scholarships to local students in 2022. CHELCO members or member dependents who plan to attend college or trade school in the 2022-23 school year are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Applicants must be CHELCO members or member dependents, submit transcripts displaying a GPA of at least 2.5 and be in good academic standing with their school. Those seeking graduate degrees will not be eligible for the scholarship.

Scholarship winners will be drawn at the CHELCO Annual Meeting on April 9 at Freeport High School. To win the scholarship, applicants must be in attendance at the annual meeting, with no exceptions.
