CHELCO has been made aware of an individual going door to door posing as a CHELCO employee. The individual was wearing a red shirt and black slacks and carrying a tablet. Reports include the individual mentioning easements, surveys, and solar. Regardless of the reason for this individual's visit, CHELCO did not send them.

Stay alert and stay aware with these following tips:

• ALL CHELCO employees or contractors will be identifiable by a business card, badge, or logoed uniform or vehicle. 

• CHELCO nor a CHELCO contractor promotes solar installation in our service area.

• We DO NOT partner with solar or any renewable energy sales company.
