CHELCO is looking for a part-time administrative support specialist to join the HR team. This person would provide crucial support to our HR & Training team with tasks such as scanning, data entry and word processing. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are a must.

Part-time Administrative Support Specialist-HR:

CHELCO seeks a part-time Administrative Support Specialist-HR to perform the following duties:

  • Provide clerical, data entry, and word processing support to the Human Resources & Training Department.
  • Maintains records in CHELCO Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Perform general office activities on site, such as typing, answering telephones, operating office machines, processing mail, filing, and securing confidential materials.
  • Assist with department responsibilities as assigned.

The minimum requirements for the position are a high school diploma or eqv. Must have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as word processing, managing/organizing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology. The desired candidate will have the following qualifications/skills:

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude in utilizing diverse computer software applications.
  • Ability to use discretion with confidential information.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to multi-task.
  • Communicate with tact, professionalism, and courtesy.

The selected candidate will be hired through Kelly Services Inc. and will be ineligible for CHELCO benefits; with a 999-hour annual contract. The position will normally work two or three days each week. The normal workweek is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm at the CHELCO Headquarters building in DeFuniak Springs. Work must be performed at a designated worksite location.
