Scam alert: Some CHELCO members have experienced scam calls where the caller pretends to be from CHELCO and threatens to disconnect their service or demands payment over the phone. The current scam is using phone number 1-800-611-6450 and may even leave a voicemail.

Also, be aware that scammers can "spoof" CHELCO's phone number so the call appears to be coming from CHELCO. Such phone calls are not authorized or affiliated with CHELCO, but unfortunately, we cannot prevent this from happening.
