Help us Beat the Peak again!

To keep rates affordable and keep our peak as low as possible, we ask that, when possible, our members limit their high-energy-usage activities, such as running hot water or using your washer and dryer, from 6 to 8 AM on these frigid cold mornings.

Since 2014, our Beat the Peak efforts have saved members nearly $30 million! These efforts combine voltage reduction, large accounts voluntarily running their generators, activation of Switch 2 Save load control switches on members’ water heaters, and members’ participation in reducing energy use.

Thank you for your participation in helping us keep rates low and service reliable for all our members. To learn more about our Beat the Peak efforts, visit https://www.chelco.com/energy-savings-beat-peak.
